I'm Australian ( but don't hold that against me ) currently living and working in the UK and I've always worked in creative circles in the Entertainment world.
I'm from a theatrical family - my mother was a Stage manager and my father was a Prop Master for the Australian Opera. I grew up in Sydney, Australia and played in high school rock bands and began writing songs with my friends and began a life-long love affair with music. In my early 20's I played bass in an original band called Kuotone Spies where we wrote and recorded a number of demo's and songs for our live performances. This group disbanded as happens and I worked as a casual loader and back-line technician for a number of local rock bands and international touring acts.
One of my regular employers offered me a job as a production manager and through this I met Steve Courtley - A Special Effects wizard providing mechanical and physical effects for feature films and commercials. I became his assistant and entered the strange and wonderful world of film making . I never forgot, however my first love of writing, recording and performing music and continued to pursue it joyously with every opportunity, wherever I traveled, whoever I was with, and, in my own home studio.
Fast forward many years, I no longer had the sense of satisfaction I once had for intense Film work and I re-connected with my first love again - music.
In all it's forms , in all it's genres. The sheer joy of creating something that sounds great.
Songs that connect with the listener , emotionally and aurally .
Every day I'm honing new skills, finding new tools and working hard on new material. Hopefully you might find the joy in my music that I have making it.
